What You'll Do

• Operate commercial vehicles safely on regional and dedicated freight routes, delivering cargo on schedule
• Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting condition and addressing maintenance needs
• Maintain precise Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records in full compliance with federal DOT regulations
• Properly secure cargo loads, verify weight distribution, and perform load checks before departure
• Provide regular status updates to dispatch, reporting delivery confirmations and any issues encountered
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety standards and Hogan Transportation company policies

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record meeting DOT requirements
• Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass background screening
• Physical capability to complete vehicle inspections, check loads, and perform related duties
• Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, shippers, and other drivers
• Dependable, punctual work habits and customer service orientation
