About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services organization in München that is building operational excellence across a growing platform. This is a rare chance to join at the foundation—where you'll own process redesign, system integration, and automation from day one, not write proposals that sit in a drawer.

Our client has grown through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. Each new unit brings legacy workflows, fragmented tools, and undocumented knowledge. Your role is to fix that—location by location—so the organization can scale without proportionally scaling headcount.

This role is available as either a full-time entry-level position or a 3–6 month internship for advanced students. Both tracks carry real ownership; the difference is scope and timeline.

Responsibilities

Post-Acquisition Integration

• Lead the operational integration of newly acquired units into a unified operating model
• Deploy standardized tools, harmonize workflows, migrate data, and bring teams along
• Document the before and after state with measurable metrics—integration without proof of impact doesn't count
• Work on-site at each location; process change requires face-to-face trust, not video calls

Process Design & Automation

• Take manual, fragmented workflows and rebuild them at the root—not with instructions, but by changing how the work actually runs
• Build directly in the tools yourself rather than writing requirements for others
• Push process changes through even where initial resistance exists, without damaging relationships
• Document every process so a third party can execute it independently; your standard is scalability at 2x volume without 2x people

Internal Operations, Systems & People Logistics

• Own and automate the operational engine: onboarding logistics, contract workflows, location setup, system maintenance
• Build dashboards that surface utilization, throughput, and bottlenecks across locations—and make constraints visible rather than working around them
• Contribute your own observations; the organization values flat communication and autonomous execution

What We're Looking For

Education & Background

• Completed or near-completion of a degree in business, business informatics, industrial engineering, or comparable field (university, university of applied sciences, or dual study program)
• Prior exposure to operational work—internship in operations, consulting, scale-up, or mid-market environment
• Evidence of self-directed initiative outside the curriculum, with tangible outcomes you can explain
• Profiles that don't fit the above but demonstrate rigor and execution capability are explicitly welcome

Skills & Working Style

• Ability to document a process so clearly that someone else can execute it without asking questions
• Hands-on execution in tools rather than writing specs for others—implementation beats concept
• Fluent use of AI as a standard working tool for process analysis, automation, reporting, and drafting; repetitive tasks are a prompt to automate, not accept
• Comfort making assumptions explicit, choosing a direction, and course-correcting as you go when given open-ended tasks
• Ability to manage work across multiple locations in parallel without dropping threads

Mindset & Personal Attributes

• Drive change through resistance while preserving working relationships
• Humility to learn from practitioners—the tax specialist with 20 years knows things no process map will show
• See process work as design, not administration
• Personal standard of excellence in everything you deliver, driven by internal pride rather than external oversight

Language

• Fluency in German required for daily collaboration and on-site work

How We Work With You

Pay

Full-Time Entry Level: Pay via Get A Job.ai is €54,000–€66,000 base plus €10,800–€13,200 performance bonus, paid quarterly and assessed qualitatively. Placement within the range reflects prior experience and market positioning, not negotiation.

Internship: Pay via Get A Job.ai is €2,000–€4,000 per month gross, depending on stage of study (Bachelor in progress, post-Bachelor/Master in progress, or post-Master). Minimum duration 3 months; 6 months preferred.
