About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-established photography platform serving visual storytellers and professional photographers across the United States. Our client is a profitable, mission-driven organization modernizing its core product for a new generation of users. They need a seasoned Staff Product Manager to own major areas of the user journey and drive multi-quarter strategic initiatives.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll define problems, build business cases, ship solutions, and measure outcomes across growth, delivery, or core experience domains. You'll work in a resource-conscious environment that values speed of learning over perfection, connecting platform strategy to sprint-level execution across engineering, design, insights, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and execution for a major product area across multi-quarter initiatives spanning multiple teams
  • Frame large, ambiguous problem spaces—define problems, scope value, build business cases, align stakeholders, ship solutions, and measure results
  • Connect product and platform strategy to quarterly and sprint-level execution through clear roadmap planning and communication
  • Collaborate with insights, marketing, customer experience, and UX teams to center customer needs in all decisions
  • Drive innovation by applying Lean methodology, design thinking, and first-principles reasoning to discover new approaches
  • Build ROI cases modeling value creation alongside operational costs, defining outcomes and measurement approaches upfront
  • Elevate product management craft across the organization including communication quality, roadmap rigor, release coordination, and planning cadence
  • Report directly to the Head of Product Management

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in product management at companies known for product quality, ideally in prosumer, creative tools, or small business SaaS environments
  • Demonstrated customer obsession with a track record of centering user value while balancing business and technical constraints
  • Innovation instinct—you've driven new product initiatives, not just optimized existing features, and understand market strategy and growth principles
  • Analytical rigor including upfront measurement definition, ROI estimation, A/B test interpretation, and comfort with business modeling (MBA or management consulting background is a plus)
  • First-principles Lean thinking with comfort making bets with imperfect information and operating in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Design fluency to direct UX work and use prototyping to align teams before committing to development
  • Clear, precise written, verbal, and visual communication at multiple levels of detail
  • Builder mentality with experience shipping in resource-constrained environments—hands-on, resourceful, and pragmatic
  • Strong product craft from organizations with mature PM practices including planning cadences, well-structured specs, and release coordination
  • Scaling or turnaround experience is a plus
