Solutions Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded open source security platform in a high-growth phase. Our client is building developer-focused infrastructure for secrets management and security tooling, serving customers that include recognizable names in AI and technology. They've secured significant venture backing and are scaling rapidly.

We're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their go-to-market team in a high-impact, customer-facing capacity. You'll work directly with executive leadership, engineering, and sales to drive technical adoption and customer success across their growing base.

Responsibilities

• Lead proof-of-concept implementations with prospective customers, guiding them through technical onboarding and architecture recommendations
• Ensure successful customer activation by answering technical questions and resolving implementation challenges
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to both customer engineering teams and business stakeholders
• Partner with account executives to deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical discovery sessions
• Maintain daily customer communication to identify friction points, gather product feedback, and inform the roadmap
• Contribute to user experience strategy by providing insights on developer workflows and customer journeys
• Host webinars and technical enablement sessions for customer stakeholders
• Continuously improve documentation and customer-facing materials based on real-world feedback
• Play a defining role in scaling customer operations as the organization grows to thousands of customers

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Background in software development, systems engineering, or DevOps roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• High-ownership mentality and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Currently based in the United States

Preferred:

• Open source contributions or community involvement
• Knowledge of secrets management, developer security platforms, or DevSecOps infrastructure
• Previous startup or high-growth company experience
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Developer Relations
• Track record supporting enterprise accounts and working with technical decision-makers
• Public speaking experience including webinars, conference talks, or community presentations
