Cloud DevOps Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential visual technology organization seeking a Cloud DevOps Developer for a remote role with occasional in-person collaboration in London. This is a permanent position focused on building modern, cloud-forward infrastructure to support cutting-edge digital services. You'll join a small agile team working on scalable, serverless cloud solutions that power innovative digital products. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and DevOps excellence, where you'll shape developer workflows and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud services using Terraform and modern orchestration tools
• Champion Agile methodologies with a strong emphasis on continuous delivery and test-driven development
• Build and enhance observability, telemetry, monitoring, and alerting systems across the platform
• Accelerate development cycles by creating powerful tooling and optimizing deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with pipeline and systems engineering teams to integrate cloud and DevOps solutions
• Explore AI-assisted techniques for code and media generation where appropriate

What We're Looking For

Essential skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code provisioning tools
• Exceptional communication skills and a genuine eagerness to learn and adapt
• Solid understanding of modern software development practices
• Strong commitment to measurement, logging, and observability
• Ability to problem-solve independently and write high-quality code without over-reliance on AI assistance

Beneficial experience:

• VFX or animation pipeline development
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise
