About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce technology client that is building an advanced AI-powered operations platform. Our talent team is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, deploy, and manage autonomous agent systems that drive innovation and operational efficiency across multiple departments.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities

• Design and build autonomous AI agents that identify opportunities for process improvement and execute meaningful work independently
• Collaborate with department leads across the organization to assess AI integration needs and priorities
• Connect agent systems to internal tools and third-party APIs to enable end-to-end automation
• Monitor agent performance metrics and deprecate systems that fail to deliver measurable value
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI models and tooling as they become available
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on AI capabilities and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building production AI agents that operate autonomously and deliver measurable business impact
• Strong expertise across multiple LLM platforms including Grok, Claude, OpenAI, and open-source models
• Proficiency in Go and TypeScript
• Experience with GraphQL, Postgres, and Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent written communication skills in English

Pay and Benefits

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $150,000–$250,000 USD annually, depending on experience. This role also includes a $20,000 signing bonus, 4 weeks paid vacation plus country-specific holidays, and is fully remote.
