Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential software consultancy serving enterprise clients across multiple industries. In this Software Security Engineer role, you will:
- Work on client consulting and software development projects, applying AI methods and tools throughout the development lifecycle, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, code generation, and test automation
- Implement and adapt secure software development best practices based on frameworks such as NCSC, OWASP, and Mitre within project environments
- Develop solutions using modern technologies including C#, Java, JavaScript, Spring, and Vue, taking responsibility for IT security across the stack
- Design and build secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, IONOS, or Google Cloud for client applications
- Integrate security tooling (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST) within DevOps automation pipelines
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Computer Science or a comparable discipline
- Deep, practical software engineering knowledge with comfort working across both backend and frontend
- Proven expertise applying Secure by Design, Zero Trust, and other IT security principles in complex projects
- Strong familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and Mitre CWE Top 25, with demonstrated ability to mitigate corresponding risks
- Hands-on experience with DevOps automation and security tool integration
- Self-directed work style with active contribution to team success
- Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and strong English (minimum B2 level)
