Software Engineer, Treasury at Lithic - Remote Position

The Opportunity

Lithic is seeking talented Software Engineers to join our Treasury team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and building the backend services that manage the flow of funds between Lithic and third parties. You will become an expert in the card payments space, working primarily with Python. This role offers the chance to work on mission-critical systems that ensure high standards of reliability and correctness.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build backend services for managing fund flows between Lithic and external financial institutions.
• Work on our ledger, ACH, and wire infrastructure, ensuring flawless reconciliation processes.
• Develop and maintain systems that meet high standards of reliability and correctness.
• Become an expert in the card payments space to solve interesting and challenging problems.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python programming language.
• Aptitude for understanding complex financial systems and processes.
• Experience with backend development, including server-side logic and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Interest in learning about card payments and financial services infrastructure.
