Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential finance education organization seeking a Social Media Manager to drive growth across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. In this role, you will own the social media strategy end-to-end, not just execute content plans.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing cross-platform content strategies that drive measurable growth and engagement
• Planning, coordinating, and continuously optimizing the content calendar
• Designing campaigns, series formats, and scalable content mechanics
• Analyzing performance data and implementing concrete optimization measures
• Running A/B tests on hooks, thumbnails, titles, and format variations
• Identifying emerging trends early and translating them into high-performing content ideas
• Collaborating closely with video editors and strategically managing content production
• Building engagement and community strategies that increase retention
• Defining clear growth targets and tracking progress against KPIs

What We're Looking For

Experience: You have demonstrable success in social media management, ideally within educational, trading, or finance environments.

Growth Mindset: You think in terms of KPIs, conversion rates, retention metrics, and scalable systems—not just vanity metrics.

Platform Expertise: You understand Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok algorithms at a strategic level, not just surface-level features.

Analytics Skills: You work confidently with analytics tools (Instagram Insights, YouTube Analytics, etc.) and translate data into actionable strategies.

Strategy + Creativity: You can develop viral content ideas, but always with clear strategic objectives behind them.

Work Style: You are independent, structured, and accountable. You thrive with ownership and don't require micromanagement.

Language: Strong German language skills are required for this Hamburg-based role.
