Site Reliability Engineer -Cloudstore (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization in their search for a Site Reliability Engineer. This role sits within a team responsible for building frameworks that automate and standardize deployments on enterprise cloud platforms. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies in security-oriented, air-gapped environments with a strong focus on GitOps and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frameworks for packaging and deploying cloud platform solutions
• Drive ongoing development of Kubernetes infrastructure and implement GitOps workflows using tools like FluxCD
• Support and onboard engineering teams onto the cloud platform
• Participate in system analysis and derive improvements from ambiguous or unclear requirements
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform
• Contribute to observability stack maintenance including metrics, logs, and traces
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability

What We're Looking For

• Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and internals
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially OpenStack, including infrastructure provisioning and management
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with modern observability stacks including Prometheus and Grafana
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, and Go
• Understanding of security fundamentals including IAM, secrets management, hardening, and compliance
• Knowledge of distributed systems concepts such as CAP theorem, consensus, and fault tolerance
• Strong problem-solving skills with strict documentation discipline
• Ability to thrive in collaborative product-team environments with an ownership mentality and blameless culture mindset
• Strong communication skills in English and passion for continuous improvement
