Position Summary

As Senior Utility Helicopter Military Analyst at Cortina Solutions, you'll provide advanced analytical expertise supporting military helicopter operations, modernization initiatives, and tactical readiness assessments. This full-time position combines deep subject-matter knowledge with strategic oversight, influencing key decisions that enhance operational capability and mission success across Army aviation platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of utility helicopter systems, performance metrics, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Develop detailed technical assessments and intelligence reports documenting tactical capabilities, vulnerabilities, and recommendations for stakeholders
• Collaborate with military personnel, contractors, and cross-functional teams to evaluate helicopter readiness, training requirements, and doctrine alignment
• Support modernization efforts by analyzing technical specifications, evaluating new systems, and assessing integration risks
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering professional development and maintaining analytical rigor across the team
• Maintain compliance with military regulations, security protocols, and documentation standards throughout all analysis and reporting

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in military helicopter operations, intelligence analysis, or related defense technical roles
• Demonstrated expertise in military aviation systems, tactical doctrine, or operational analysis
• Active or inactive security clearance, or proven ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, military science, intelligence studies, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable reports
• Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools, spreadsheet applications, and reporting software
