About the Role

The Registered Nurse position focuses on direct patient care, clinical collaboration, and professional development within our Specialty Medical units. As a member of a dedicated care team committed to the Medicine Division, you'll build clinical expertise in patient assessment, treatment coordination, and therapeutic communication—with the stability of a consistent practice setting and patient population.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient response to treatment
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic patient care environment
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences throughout their hospital stay

What You Bring

• Current RN licensure or GN (Graduate Nurse) candidacy in Connecticut
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
