Registered Nurse – Graduate Nurse (RN, GN) – Cardiology E4

Hartford Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse (RN/GN) to join our Cardiology E4 team at Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut. As a full-time member of our cardiac care unit, you'll provide essential telemetry monitoring and patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions in one of Eastern Connecticut's premier healthcare facilities.

About the Role

In this E4 position, you'll work on our Cardiology Telemetry unit, delivering evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and acute care patients. Your responsibilities will include continuous cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with our interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and comfort.

What You'll Do

• Monitor cardiac telemetry systems and respond to patient arrhythmias or changes in clinical status
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in the electronic health record
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
• Provide patient education and support for individuals managing cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and nursing documentation

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut, or eligible for endorsement as a Graduate Nurse (GN)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
