Senior Strategy & Project Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in Berlin seeking a Senior Strategy & Project Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, driving high-impact strategic initiatives and contributing directly to business growth. You will serve as an analytical sparring partner for senior management, leading end-to-end projects with significant business impact while gaining deep insights across all areas of a rapidly scaling financial services organization.

Due to the proximity to senior management, high on-site presence at the Berlin office is required. This position is available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact strategic initiatives end-to-end, driving implementation while being deeply involved in content to develop optimal solutions
• Monitor all relevant KPIs, derive well-founded recommendations, and support data-driven decision-making as a key sparring partner for executive leadership
• Create decision frameworks, business cases, and analyses for central strategic questions, ensuring strategic priorities are efficiently executed
• Identify improvement potential in processes and structures within and across teams, driving continuous organizational development
• Collaborate closely with executive and leadership teams as well as functional departments, coordinating across team boundaries to ensure smooth implementation
• Serve as a central interface between the CEO, executive management, and external stakeholders, maintaining partner and investor relationships and preparing updates and materials
• Support senior leadership in strategic discussions and presentations

What We're Looking For

• Excellent degree from a top-tier business school or university in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, management, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a comparable strategic role (ideally with exposure to financial services or tech scale-ups)
• Proven experience leading and implementing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and strategic capabilities with quick comprehension, excellent numerical skills, and high attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in German (native level required) and very good English proficiency
• Hands-on mentality with initiative, assertiveness, and the ability to find pragmatic solutions in dynamic environments
• Ability to work on-site in Berlin with high frequency due to senior management collaboration requirements
