Account Executive – Berlin

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded restaurant technology company that is transforming how hospitality venues operate across Europe. Our client has developed an integrated platform that connects point-of-sale, reservations, kitchen operations, and payments into one seamless system. With significant venture backing and rapid expansion across multiple European markets, they are now building their sales team in Berlin.

This is a field sales role for someone who loves the hospitality industry and thrives on building relationships in the real world. You'll spend your time meeting restaurant owners, café operators, and bar managers where they work—not behind a desk.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with new hospitality venues across Berlin through field visits, networking, and industry events
• Conduct product demonstrations on-site at restaurants, cafés, and bars
• Build relationships with hospitality owners and decision-makers through creative outreach and in-person meetings
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
• Coordinate handovers to onboarding teams to ensure smooth implementation
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in CRM (HubSpot)
• Contribute to sales process improvement and share market insights with the team
• Stay current on hospitality industry trends and competitor developments

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, commercial account management, or hospitality operations
• Fluent in both English and German
• Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and restaurant technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage busy hospitality professionals
• Hands-on, independent working style comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
• Willingness to experiment with new sales approaches and learn from failures
• Comfortable with field sales and spending significant time meeting customers in person
• Experience using CRM tools and sales technology to manage pipeline efficiently

Pay
