Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential browser technology organization in their search for a Senior Staff Product Manager to own the Browser Control Platform. This is a strategic, hands-on role at the intersection of platform architecture, developer tooling, and AI integration.

You'll own the foundational layer that enables external software and internal teams to interact with the browser securely and reliably. This is greenfield territory—you'll define what gets built, in what order, and how it serves multiple constituencies: internal product teams, third-party AI tools, and the broader developer ecosystem.

Location: France (remote)

Responsibilities

• Own the shared platform foundation and APIs that allow external software to control browser functionality securely
• Drive the evolution of open web standards (WebDriver BiDi) while building proprietary capabilities where standards fall short
• Design user safety controls: approval workflows, visibility into automated actions, and mechanisms for users to regain control
• Define go-to-market strategy for major third-party AI assistants and integration partners
• Serve as the platform owner for both internal product teams and external developer tools, ensuring a unified technical contract
• Set platform strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving spaces with multiple competing priorities
• Drive measurable adoption across teams and tools while maintaining reliability and security standards

What We're Looking For

• Product-minded engineer or highly technical PM capable of driving deep technical products
• Experience in developer-facing platforms with the range to consider consumer impact and internal platform needs
• Proven ability to set strategy and own technical contracts that other teams depend on
• Strong instincts around security, trust, and user safety in automated contexts
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and making calls with incomplete information
• Nice to have: familiarity with web standards, browser automation, or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
