Senior Solutions Architect, Generative AI

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in Generative AI. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge GPU infrastructure and large-scale AI workloads, supporting some of the world's most advanced organizations building foundation models and consumer-facing AI systems. You'll work directly with leading technology companies and research labs, designing and optimizing the infrastructure that powers the next generation of artificial intelligence.

This is a remote position based in the United States, with approximately 20% travel for customer engagements and industry conferences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to maximize GPU utilization and end-to-end throughput while improving infrastructure reliability and reducing operational costs
• Design and optimize large-scale AI clusters spanning GPU compute, high-performance networking, storage, workload scheduling, orchestration, and observability
• Profile distributed training and inference workloads to identify bottlenecks across GPUs, CPUs, memory, network fabrics, storage systems, and software stacks
• Diagnose complex infrastructure and distributed systems issues involving InfiniBand, RoCE fabrics, cloud interconnects, RDMA, and GPU interconnect technologies
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and performance studies for large-scale AI infrastructure, developing benchmarking tools, automation scripts, runbooks, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales teams to drive technical wins and innovative solutions based on customer requirements and field insights

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in AI infrastructure, systems engineering, high-performance computing, networking, site reliability engineering, or related technical roles
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, distributed computing, GPU architectures, and hardware/software components of large-scale AI clusters
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, operating, or troubleshooting high-performance GPU networks in on-premises or cloud environments using InfiniBand, RoCE, or GPUDirect RDMA
• Experience debugging distributed collective communication performance, including topology, transport, congestion, routing, and host-level configuration issues
• Proven ability profiling AI workloads and identifying performance bottlenecks across compute, networking, storage, and orchestration layers
• Experience with cluster schedulers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Slurm, along with containerization and production monitoring systems
• Proficiency with Python, shell scripting, or similar languages for infrastructure automation, benchmarking, and systems troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience architecting and operating large-scale production GPU clusters for distributed training or inference
• Deep expertise with enterprise GPU systems, interconnect technologies, and high-performance networking solutions
• Hands-on experience using diagnostic and telemetry tools to isolate performance and reliability issues at scale
• Understanding of network topology, congestion control, collective communication patterns, and their impact on distributed AI workload performance
• Experience optimizing storage and data pipelines to sustain high-throughput training and inference workloads
