About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that provides IT infrastructure and digital transformation services to medical practices throughout Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join a growing team in Frankfurt am Main.

The role focuses on supporting and maintaining comprehensive IT environments for healthcare clients, including server infrastructure, network components, and specialized medical software systems. You'll work in a modern, collaborative environment with opportunities for both remote work and occasional on-site client visits.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support complete IT infrastructure including servers, clients, network components, and firewalls for healthcare clients
• Execute system migrations and configurations (Windows Server, Active Directory, industry-specific software) ensuring smooth transitions
• Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues, manage service cases, and serve as primary contact for technical disruptions via remote support and occasional on-site visits (maximum 1-2 times per month)
• Support IT projects from planning and pre-installation through completion, maintaining thorough documentation throughout
• Manage and monitor specialized healthcare software systems, document network configurations, and ensure long-term system stability
• Provide internal helpdesk support to medical practice clients via phone and email with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in IT support, networking, and IT security, ideally from a managed service provider or systems integrator environment
• Demonstrated ability to plan, build, and manage IT infrastructure from end to end
• Strong expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, firewalls, VPNs, backup systems, and related enterprise technologies
• Solution-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
• Bonus: Previous experience with IT systems in dental or medical practice environments
• German language proficiency required for client communication
