Senior Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential DevSecOps platform organization in their search for a Senior Solutions Architect to join their Northern Europe team. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers, guiding them through complex digital transformation initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and validation activities to align platform capabilities with customer technical and business requirements across the software development lifecycle
• Driving technical evaluation processes as the directly responsible individual, including solution design, proof of concept and proof of value ownership, workshop facilitation, and technical contributions to tenders and audits
• Collaborating with account executives and regional sales teams across Northern Europe to shape account strategies supporting new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities
• Building and deepening relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, positioning yourself as a transformation guide and enabling customer advocacy
• Advising customers on modern software development practices, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud strategies while challenging existing approaches to improve return on investment
• Serving as the voice of the customer to product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams by sharing feedback, use cases, and competitive insights that inform roadmap decisions
• Maintaining and extending technical expertise in DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies while creating reusable examples, best practice guidance, and technical collateral
• Investing in your own professional growth through continuous learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to enhance team impact

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in technical pre-sales and a passion for helping customers succeed through modern development practices:

• 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles guiding solution design and evaluation
• Deep proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows
• Hands-on experience with source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms, with the ability to map platform capabilities to customer use cases
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including deployment, security, and operations discussions with technical teams
• Proven ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and facilitate workshops or value stream assessments
• Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for practitioners through to senior business and technical decision makers
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to listen with empathy and act as a customer advocate to internal stakeholders
• Self-motivated approach to continuous professional development, including learning new technologies and deepening platform expertise

This is a remote position focused on the Northern Europe region. You will report to a regional Solutions Architect Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
