About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential GreenTech SaaS organization based in Dresden that is transforming how the built environment approaches decarbonization and energy compliance. Our talent team is seeking Energy Consultants, Building Systems Engineers, or motivated career-changers to join a fast-growing platform supporting real estate portfolios across Europe.

This role offers hands-on work with energy certifications, efficiency assessments, and subsidy programs—alongside structured training and certification support. Whether you bring experience in energy consulting or a technical background with interest in sustainability, we can help you find the right entry point.

Responsibilities

Depending on your experience level, you will:

• Review and quality-assure energy performance certificates, including on-site data collection visits
• Prepare energy certificates for non-residential buildings with field inspections
• Develop heating load calculations and energy balances
• Advise on efficiency standards and sustainable retrofit strategies
• Process and submit subsidy applications (BAFA, KfW programs)
• Support implementation of energy efficiency measures

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or apprenticeship in architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering, environmental technology, building systems, or related field
• OR: professional experience in a technical discipline (site management, project engineering) with genuine interest in energy consulting
• Strong technical comprehension and analytical skills
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to pursue further training and energy consultant certification if not already qualified
• Fluency in German required; role is based in Dresden with hybrid flexibility
