Senior Software Engineer – Python

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Python to join a founding team building an AI-driven platform from the ground up. This is a remote position based in the United States, specifically offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to a product that will transform enterprise operations.

You'll be joining at an exciting inflection point—helping establish engineering practices, influencing architecture decisions, and seeing your work go live with customers within your first year. This role combines hands-on coding with strategic mentorship and the opportunity to shape both the product and the team culture.

Responsibilities

• Own complete feature lifecycles from technical design through production deployment, maintenance, and support
• Write production code daily using modern AI-assisted development tools to maximize productivity
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical design and complex problem-solving
• Rapidly analyze and break down ambiguous technical challenges to accelerate delivery of robust solutions
• Define and champion engineering best practices, coding standards, and AI-assisted development approaches across the team
• Conduct thorough code reviews for engineers at all experience levels, elevating quality and knowledge sharing
• Provide structured mentorship to develop engineering talent and foster team growth

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience with proven production-level Python expertise
• Extensive background developing high-scale enterprise SaaS cloud applications
• Demonstrated track record architecting and building high-volume products at scale
• Hands-on proficiency with modern open-source technologies including Python, Git, FastAPI, and Pydantic
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and elevate team performance
• Strong drive and adaptability; thrives in fast-paced startup environments
• High work ethic with exceptional integrity and commitment to doing the right thing
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States required—sponsorship is not available at this time
