Global Strategic Marketing Director (remote/Europe)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global industrial solutions organization in their search for a Global Strategic Marketing Director based remotely in Europe, ideally in Poland. Our client is a market leader with over a century of experience delivering water treatment and industrial maintenance technologies across diverse sectors worldwide.

This is a senior strategic role reporting to global leadership, focused on driving market strategy, customer value propositions, and growth initiatives across light industry water management, process chemistry, and operational efficiency programs.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of business unit strategy for light industry solutions
• Lead specific light industry sector strategies and regional strategy activation initiatives
• Define priority sectors and sub-sectors at country, regional, and global levels
• Lead voice-of-customer (VOC) and blueprinting initiatives for new adjacent markets and technologies
• Support M&A strategy and identify external growth opportunities within light industrial sectors
• Own accredited market data gathering including SAM, market size, segmentation, and CAGR analysis
• Create compelling sector value propositions and narrative development for investor relations
• Lead strategic marketing initiatives identifying market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
• Align and monitor strategy execution through executive and regional stakeholder calls

What We're Looking For

• Ideally 10+ years of experience in innovation, product development, strategic marketing, or business development at regional or global level
• Strong B2B experience in a multinational environment
• Experience in light industry, water management solutions, process chemistry, specialty chemicals, or related industrial markets
• Strong knowledge of cooling water, boiler water, wastewater treatment, water reuse, asset protection, and sustainability initiatives
• Deep understanding of light industry sectors including manufacturing, food & beverage, commercial facilities, data centers, pharma, and micro-electronics
• Proven ability to develop market strategies, value propositions, and growth plans for technical solutions
• Fluent/high-level English; additional European language skills are advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with structured approach to work
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strategic mindset with ability to identify and develop new growth opportunities
