We are representing a confidential fintech platform serving over 20,000 organizations globally. Our client has built a profitable, rapidly growing product trusted by enterprise customers, universities, and nonprofits alike. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their distributed team across the Americas (LATAM, Canada, USA).

Responsibilities

• Own product feature development end-to-end, including scoping, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to solve complex user problems
• Drive improvements to developer productivity through code quality, process optimization, and mentorship
• Contribute across the full stack in a distributed team environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building complex web products from concept to production
• Full-stack expertise spanning frontend, backend, and everything in between
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and React (or comparable JavaScript frameworks)
• Excellent written communication skills—our client operates in a documentation-first culture
• Self-directed work style with the ability to own projects autonomously rather than waiting for instructions
• High empathy for both teammates and end users, with the ability to understand diverse perspectives
