Senior Sales Manager – Infrastruktur & Services (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Hamburg seeking a Senior Sales Manager for Infrastructure & Services. This role offers the chance to drive business development in the public sector while working with cutting-edge data center and IT infrastructure solutions across Northern Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for infrastructure and service solutions targeting new and existing clients in the public sector, particularly IT service providers in Northern Germany
• Identify business opportunities, build sustainable client relationships, and consistently achieve agreed sales targets
• Manage the full tender and proposal process, from bid strategy through cost calculation to client presentations
• Execute proactive sales and client campaigns, positioning the portfolio with key decision-makers
• Prepare and conduct client meetings both on-site and remotely, converting identified needs into concrete sales opportunities
• Collaborate closely with bid management, pre-sales, delivery teams, and external partners to develop optimal client solutions
• Document sales activities in CRM systems, ensure high data quality, and provide regular reporting on accounts and opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in sales, account management, or comparable sales-related functions
• Demonstrable track record of sales success with enthusiasm for identifying and developing new business potential
• Knowledge of the public sector in Northern Germany, ideally with contacts among public IT service providers
• Strong expertise in selling data center infrastructure and solid understanding of data center operations
• Familiarity with current digitalization topics and developments in the public sector
• Experience with public procurement procedures and tenders, comfortable navigating public purchasing environments
• Proactive, self-directed, and solution-oriented working style
• Excellent German language skills, both written and verbal
• Location: Hamburg (office-based or client site visits)
• Full-time position
