About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential public-sector technology organization seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead business development in the education sector. Based in Berlin, this role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives for government education clients while working with a talented team across Germany. Part-time arrangements are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within state-level education administration clients
• Manage and expand key account relationships in the education sector
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for education-focused digital solutions
• Lead proposal development and presentations in collaboration with bid management and delivery teams
• Oversee pricing strategy, quality management, and coordination of cross-functional proposal teams
• Support the management and expansion of major framework contracts
• Contribute to sales and marketing campaigns targeting the education vertical

What We're Looking For

• Passion and enthusiasm for digitalization and transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of themes and client groups within education administration
• Extensive experience in sales, consulting, or agency environments with public-sector exposure
• High IT affinity and genuine interest in emerging technologies
• Confident presence with a strong capacity for self-directed work
• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand client needs
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Existing network within federal education administration (highly desirable)
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
