Senior Sales Engineer – Majors (France)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential observability SaaS organization seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise accounts in France. In this role, you will:

• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements
• Partner with sales colleagues to articulate technical value propositions and strategic vision to enterprise customers
• Own technical engagement with customers during trial phases, addressing identified issues and concerns through to successful resolution
• Deliver product and technical briefings to potential clients, demonstrating advanced competitive knowledge and technical credibility
• Maintain detailed CRM documentation regarding customer feedback, wins, and losses
• Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams regarding product feedback and competitive insights
• Help qualify and close complex opportunities with enterprise customers

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role
• Strong programming/scripting experience with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, or.NET
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate both business benefits and technical advantages
• Passion for educating customers on technical risks meaningful to their business
• Ability to build and execute evaluation plans with enterprise customers
• Comfortable with travel up to 45% of the time via auto, train, or air
• Ability to attend client meetings requiring extended periods of sitting and travel
