Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data and AI consultancy seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Paris team. In this role, you will design, deliver, and scale AI solutions while mentoring junior team members and serving as a trusted technical advisor.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Frame business use cases, validate data availability, and define appropriate AI approaches with client teams
• Design and implement machine learning and generative AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact
• Build robust, scalable, production-ready solutions using software engineering and MLOps best practices
• Translate business requirements into effective AI pipelines and architectures
• Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure maintainability and scalability
• Explain AI approaches clearly to stakeholders, highlighting feasibility, risks, and ROI
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders from operational teams to management
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide constructive feedback to support their development
• Share knowledge through workshops, documentation, and training sessions
• Contribute to internal tools and accelerators to improve delivery efficiency
• Stay current with emerging AI methods, tools, and frameworks

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying data-driven solutions
• Strong knowledge in applied machine learning and generative AI
• Solid understanding of software engineering and MLOps best practices
• Experience delivering AI projects in cloud environments
• Intellectual curiosity and structured problem-solving abilities
