About the Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior QA Engineer to establish and lead quality assurance across their growing web platform. This is a critical role for someone who can bring structure, consistency, and confidence to the release process while building QA foundations from the ground up.
Location: London, Greater London, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive QA processes and standards across the organization
- Perform manual testing across multiple websites and applications
- Own regression testing for releases, migrations, and new features
- Act as the quality gate before production releases
- Define and begin implementing a test automation strategy
- Select appropriate tools and identify areas suitable for automation
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to improve quality practices
- Mentor junior QA engineers as the team expands
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of QA experience with a primary focus on web platforms
- Strong background in manual testing methodologies
- Proven experience setting up QA processes from scratch
- Familiarity with modern web stacks and CMS platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- Automation experience with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- Experience with accessibility or performance testing
- Previous lead or senior QA role experience
