About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT services organization in Bremen that is actively expanding through strategic acquisitions. Our talent team is searching for a (Senior) Project Manager Post Merger Integration to drive operational excellence and integration execution across newly acquired entities.

This is not a consulting role where you deliver recommendations and move on. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with managing directors at subsidiary companies, translating strategic objectives into measurable results and ensuring integrations actually deliver value. Your impact will directly determine how quickly and successfully acquired businesses integrate into the broader organization.

Responsibilities

  • Translate group-level strategic goals into concrete, measurable projects in collaboration with local leadership teams
  • Analyze, define, and plan improvement initiatives including operational capacity optimization, leadership and reporting structure development, process standardization, and IT system implementation
  • Track project execution rigorously through to completion, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations
  • Design and execute project communication strategies while proactively managing stakeholder expectations and concerns
  • Serve as a sparring partner and coach to managing directors and senior leaders, providing direct feedback even on uncomfortable topics
  • Develop reusable PMI blueprints and standards for future integrations in partnership with executive leadership
  • Provide transparent reporting to senior management and escalate risks early

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • Structured working style with strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
  • Background in process, strategy, or IT consulting
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience driving results through influence and authority
  • Proven track record leading complex change and implementation projects
  • Experience with post-merger integration projects and operational excellence initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to focus on what matters most
  • Affinity for information technology, particularly AI systems
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Northern Germany
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of M365, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or comparable field
