Senior Project Manager – Digital Communications (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead digital communications initiatives. Our talent team is recruiting for a role based in Stuttgart that combines project leadership with client relationship development and strategic thinking.

In this position, you will manage complex digital communication projects, with a particular focus on CMS-based information platforms and websites. You'll work at the intersection of technology, digital communications consulting, creative development, and content strategy, ensuring projects deliver value while identifying opportunities for continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex digital implementation projects, maintaining control over scope, budget, quality, and timelines
• Lead CMS-based website and information platform projects through development and ongoing operations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across technology, digital communications, UX, design, and content disciplines
• Partner closely with clients to understand requirements and translate them into concrete project goals and solutions
• Identify new opportunities and development potential within existing client relationships
• Contribute project expertise to proposals, tenders, and competitive pitches
• Navigate multiple stakeholder groups with confidence, ensuring clarity and accountability in complex project environments
• Apply appropriate project methodologies (agile or traditional) based on project needs and context

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience managing digital implementation projects, ideally involving websites, information platforms, or CMS-based solutions
• A proactive approach to project management that goes beyond administration to actively shape projects, solutions, and client relationships
• Strong ability to understand client challenges, recognize potential, and develop appropriate solutions with cross-functional teams
• Comfort working with both technical teams and creative disciplines including communications, UX, design, and content
• Experience with presales, business development, tenders, or proposal development is advantageous but not required
• Knowledge of various project methodologies with the ability to apply them situationally; certification is beneficial but not mandatory
• Experience with public sector or public-adjacent organizations is ideal
• Completed university degree or equivalent practical qualification
• Excellent German language skills, both written and verbal, with confident stakeholder communication abilities
