Senior Project Manager – Digital Communications (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead digital communications initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Steer complex digital delivery projects, maintaining scope, budget, quality, and timelines
• Manage CMS-based information platforms and websites through development, enhancement, and ongoing operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning technology, digital communications consulting, creative, content, and UX disciplines
• Work closely with clients and project teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable project goals
• Identify new opportunities and development potential within existing client relationships
• Contribute your project perspective to proposals, tenders, and pitch processes
• Coordinate diverse stakeholders and ensure clarity and accountability in complex project environments

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience managing digital delivery projects, ideally involving websites, information platforms, or CMS-based solutions
• Proactive approach to project management—you want to shape projects and client relationships, not just administer them
• Ability to understand client challenges, recognize potential, and develop fitting solutions with interdisciplinary teams
• Comfort working with both technical teams and communications/UX/design/creative/content disciplines
• Knowledge of various project methodologies (agile and traditional) and ability to apply them appropriately; certification is a plus but not required
• Experience with public sector or public-adjacent sector projects is ideal
• Completed degree or comparable practical qualification
• Strong communication skills with excellent German language proficiency (written and spoken)
• Experience in presales, business development, tenders, or proposal creation is advantageous but not mandatory
