Senior Product Manager, Core Product

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential visual technology company serving the e-commerce sector. Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the self-serve product experience for small and medium-sized businesses. This is a ground-floor opportunity where you'll define the proposition, shape the squad, and own a dedicated slice of annual recurring revenue.

You'll work at the intersection of AI capabilities and user needs, transforming technical possibilities into products that drive usage and revenue. This role requires someone who can operate with high autonomy in an ambiguous environment, staying close to users while making data-informed decisions about what ships next.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the product roadmap for self-serve customers, from initial concept through launch and iteration
• Define user problems before jumping to solutions, partnering with design and engineering to ship intuitive features
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to convert model capabilities into shipped product features
• Conduct weekly user interviews with e-commerce sellers and translate insights into roadmap priorities
• Pull and interpret product analytics independently to form hypotheses, measure outcomes, and guide decisions
• Drive self-serve growth, retention, and pricing strategies
• Operate effectively in a remote, async-first environment with minimal scaffolding

What We're Looking For

• Five or more years as a Product Manager with multiple launches you can defend in detail, including the specific user problem, your personal ownership, and measured outcomes
• Proven experience building B2B SaaS products for self-serve customer segments, understanding growth mechanics beyond enterprise sales cycles
• Daily use of AI tools like Claude for prototyping, user testing, or workflow automation—you focus on strategy and direction rather than ticket writing
• Demonstrable product taste with examples of shipped work where details mattered and the ability to articulate your decision-making process
• Ability to create clarity from ambiguous problems by structuring them, identifying what matters, and taking action without waiting for direction
• Data fluency—comfortable pulling, interpreting, and challenging data to form your point of view
• Experience thriving in small, high-autonomy teams with minimal management
• Strong communication skills in English

Bonus qualifications: Experience building creative tools or products where craft and visual quality matter; understanding of photography or videography; entrepreneurial background running or building your own venture.
