Product Manager, AI

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential open-source orchestration platform serving enterprise clients across data engineering, automation, and AI workflows. Our client is experiencing rapid growth in their AI orchestration capabilities and needs a seasoned Product Manager to own the product strategy for AI-driven workflows and agent systems.

This is a remote position based in Europe, working directly with founders and engineering leadership to define what gets built and for whom.

Responsibilities

• Define AI feature roadmap and product strategy for workflow orchestration use cases
• Conduct customer and prospect interviews to validate which AI workflows merit product investment
• Transform validated use cases into technical specifications and reusable workflow blueprints alongside engineering teams
• Make clear prioritization decisions on what the product will not support
• Collaborate with founders, engineering, and customer-facing teams on product direction

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record building and shipping AI or developer-focused products to real users in production environments
• Strong product judgment with ability to distinguish high-value use cases from trends
• Technical fluency in AI agents, orchestration systems, and integration architectures—you don't need to code but must scope technical work effectively
• Direct, clear communication style with low tolerance for ambiguity
• Concrete examples of AI products you've shipped that you can discuss in depth

Important: Our client specifically notes they have seen too many candidates whose AI experience consists of a single demo or prototype. This role requires demonstrated experience releasing AI products to real users and making production trade-off decisions.
