Senior Product Designer (w/m/d/x) – UX / UI

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization in Berlin seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for complex enterprise workflows. In this role, you will be responsible for making configuration-heavy tools intuitive, consistent, and effective for professional users.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Conducting continuous validation through user interviews, usability testing, and prototyping before development begins
• Designing complex user flows, wireframes, and scalable information architecture for data-intensive interfaces such as case management systems, workflow builders, and admin panels
• Creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes while actively evolving the design system to ensure absolute consistency across data-heavy UIs including tables, filters, and forms
• Leveraging AI design tools (such as Figma plugins and AI assistants) to rapidly translate user needs into exceptional UX, keeping your toolkit current in a fast-evolving field
• Building deep domain knowledge in the insurance sector and contributing to internal knowledge bases
• Delivering precise specifications to engineering teams (assets, spacing, edge cases, states) and consistently advocating for the user perspective with focus on efficiency and error prevention

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a senior-level designer with proven experience in B2B SaaS product design, particularly for complex, data-intensive applications. The ideal candidate brings:

• Strong track record in UX and UI design with full ownership of product design outcomes
• Expertise in interaction design, systems thinking, and designing scalable information architectures
• Advanced skills in visual design and design system development, especially for enterprise data interfaces
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design decisions
• Proficiency with modern design tools and willingness to adopt AI-powered design workflows
• Ability to deliver detailed design specifications and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
• Experience or strong interest in learning complex business domains
• Fluency in both German (minimum C1 level) and English—this is a hard requirement for this position
