Senior Product Designer

Quickenloans is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design strategy and user experience initiatives for our innovative financial services products, working remotely from California as a full-time member of our design-forward team.

About the Role

This is a senior-level design position where you'll take ownership of product design direction across multiple projects. You'll drive user-centered design practices, shape product decisions through research and data, and lead the definition of design standards that elevate our entire platform. As a Senior Product Designer at Quickenloans, you'll work at the intersection of customer needs, business strategy, and technical feasibility to create financial experiences that resonate with our users.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end product design across key initiatives, from discovery through launch
• Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and translate findings into design strategy
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern design tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on vision and execution
• Establish and maintain design systems and best practices to scale consistency across products
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth and design culture
• Advocate for accessibility, usability, and design quality in all deliverables
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen team output

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional product design experience in digital products or software
• Demonstrated expertise in user research methods, wireframing, and prototyping
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and impact on product outcomes
• Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams in agile environments
• Solid understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and best practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and lead design initiatives with minimal oversight
