Position Summary

As a Service Desk Specialist I at Pros in Houston, Texas, you'll be the frontline technical support resource for our end users. You'll manage incoming requests efficiently, troubleshoot common technical problems, and build positive relationships with the people you support. Core Duties

  • Respond to incoming user support requests via ticketing system and other communication channels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users
  • Install, configure, and update software applications on standard workstations
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, access permissions, and authentication systems
  • Provide remote desktop support and on-site assistance as needed
  • Document all issues, resolutions, and workarounds in the support ticketing system
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to senior technical staff with complete information
  • Follow established IT processes, service level agreements, and company security policies
  • Maintain working knowledge of networking, email systems, and enterprise applications

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; IT certification (CompTIA A+, Security+, or similar) preferred
  • Solid foundational knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with standard business software and productivity tools
  • Strong communication skills and patience when assisting users with technical issues
  • Ability to work through problems systematically and document findings clearly
  • Reliable, professional approach to meeting response time goals and service standards
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and support organizational IT initiatives
