Workday Product Owner

Quickenloans is hiring a Workday Product Owner to lead our human capital management and financial systems strategy in Detroit, MI. In this full-time role, you'll serve as the primary architect and strategic voice for Workday across our enterprise, bridging business operations with technology to deliver measurable value to our organization.

What This Role Involves

As Workday Product Owner at Quickenloans, you'll own the complete lifecycle of our Workday platform—from system strategy and roadmap definition through to successful adoption and optimization. You'll partner with finance, human resources, payroll, and IT teams to translate business challenges into technical solutions, prioritize feature development, and ensure our system evolves to meet Detroit-based and remote workforce needs. Your decisions will directly impact how thousands of employees experience core HR, finance, and planning functions every day.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Workday product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with company objectives
• Gather and synthesize business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders, documenting workflows and use cases
• Work with implementation partners and system administrators to configure, test, and deploy Workday enhancements and updates
• Manage system integrations with adjacent platforms, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency
• Lead user adoption initiatives, including training programs, documentation, and change management support
• Monitor system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend process improvements
• Stay current with Workday product releases, features, and best practices to maximize platform value

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with hands-on Workday administration or implementation background
• Strong grasp of human capital management, finance, or payroll processes within Workday
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, prioritize competing demands, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder expectations
• Knowledge of Workday modules such as HCM, Finance, Payroll, or Planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
