(Senior) Managing Consultant – Data & Analytics (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a consulting organization in München that is looking for a Senior Managing Consultant to lead data and analytics engagements. In this role, you will advise clients on developing and implementing data-driven solutions while taking ownership of projects, teams, and client relationships.

• Lead client advisory work in Data & Analytics from strategic solution development through successful implementation
• Independently manage client projects, overseeing scope, quality, timeline, budget, and team coordination
• Analyze business requirements, processes, and data to develop appropriate technical and functional solutions including data platforms, data warehouses, analytics, and AI solutions
• Work hands-on in implementation, contributing expertise in data models, data pipelines, reports, visualizations, AI agents, and intelligent automation solutions
• Lead client workshops and meetings, facilitate decision-making processes, and ensure business and technical perspectives converge into viable solutions
• Build sustainable client relationships, identify new challenges, and develop follow-on consulting engagements
• Deploy modern technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, Snowflake, or Databricks in client projects
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to Consultants and Senior Consultants, supporting their professional development
• Contribute to the development of the practice through best practices, methodologies, offerings, and presales activities

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field
• Several years of relevant experience in consulting or Data & Analytics
• Strong experience in designing and implementing data and analytics solutions, connecting business requirements with technical solutions
• Proven experience leading and managing client projects across scope, quality, time, and budget dimensions
• Confident client-facing presence with ability to lead workshops and executive-level meetings and build long-term relationships
• Strong knowledge of technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Data Engineering, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and AI Agents; ideally with experience designing or implementing AI solutions in client projects
• Analytical, structured, and entrepreneurial thinking; ability to identify client opportunities and develop concrete solutions and follow-on business
• Enjoy providing technical leadership and mentoring to develop consultants and senior consultants
• Strong initiative, communication skills, and hands-on mentality with very good German and good English language skills
• Moderate willingness to travel
