About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a fast-growing SaaS organization in the wealth management technology sector. Following successful expansion into Switzerland, our client is now preparing to enter the UK market. We're seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to help build and scale the legal function while serving as a pragmatic business partner across the organization.
This is a unique opportunity to shape legal operations from the ground up in a high-growth environment based in Munich.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice across commercial and corporate matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts, with emphasis on SaaS, software, customer, partner, and supplier agreements
- Support international expansion initiatives, particularly market entry into the United Kingdom
- Build and continuously improve scalable legal processes, contract templates, and governance frameworks
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Management teams while coordinating external legal counsel as needed
- Support data protection, compliance, and corporate housekeeping matters
- Drive adoption of Legal Tech and AI-powered solutions to enhance legal operations
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally gained in an international company or leading commercial law firm
- Strong background in commercial law with extensive experience negotiating technology, software, or SaaS agreements
- Solid understanding of UK law and Common Law systems
- Experience supporting international business operations
- Proven ability to build processes and structures in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in Legal Tech, contract automation, and AI-enabled legal workflows
- Business fluent in German and English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in an international scale-up environment
- Familiarity with GDPR and general compliance topics
- Experience with Legal Tech or CLM tools and AI-supported legal workflows
