We are representing a confidential innovation consulting organization based in Aachen, Germany. Our client works at the intersection of emerging technologies and business opportunities, helping leading companies identify future-relevant topics, develop innovation strategies, and bring new products, services, and business models to market.

We are seeking a (Senior) Innovation Consultant to join their New Business Innovation team. In this role, you will lead strategic innovation projects, conduct market and technology analyses, and actively shape the development of new service offerings. This position offers direct client engagement in an international environment with significant autonomy and impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute innovation, technology, and strategy projects independently for clients across various industries
• Conduct market, technology, and competitive analyses; prepare management reports and strategic recommendations
• Develop and commercialize innovation, technology, and benchmarking studies
• Design, prepare, and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and educational programs on innovation and technology management topics
• Support business development efforts and independently identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Manage small project teams and assume technical responsibility within larger project initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate emerging market, technology, and AI trends; derive business potential insights
• Contribute actively to the development of the New Business Innovation area through new products, services, and solution approaches
• Support marketing and communication activities including LinkedIn content, webinars, articles, and events
• Participate in community initiatives and organize networking formats, events, and expert exchanges

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in innovation, technology, or strategy management
• Completed degree in Innovation and Technology Management, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field
• Curiosity and exploratory mindset
• Analytical-structured working approach and conceptual thinking abilities
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
• High degree of responsibility and autonomy in work style
• Fluent German language skills and business-proficient English
