Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based in Paris, France. This role may be considered for remote work.

Our client is seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to join their Platforms Infrastructure team. You'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust data platforms and production environments that support mission-critical services. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, containerization, and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage internal data platforms supporting core product infrastructure
• Configure and maintain production environments for multiple web services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement technical solutions
• Develop product features integrating cloud services and Linux systems
• Ensure optimal capacity, performance, and security for all running workloads and services
• Establish and disseminate infrastructure best practices and tooling across technical teams

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform
• Expertise in container technologies and managed Kubernetes clusters
• Advanced scripting skills in Python
• Field experience with Linux operating systems and low-level system troubleshooting
• Practical experience in networking and compute within a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Demonstrated resilience in resolving complex technical challenges with strong root cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse teams

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience implementing authentication and authorization systems, including LDAP, SAML, and OAuth2
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, particularly Go
• Multi-cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP
