About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential retail organization in their search for a Senior CRM Developer to join their technology team. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to architect and develop enterprise-scale customer relationship management solutions.
Our client operates a sophisticated CRM ecosystem built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Azure services. This role will serve as the senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and continuously enhancing CRM capabilities that support retail operations, contact center teams, and customer engagement channels.
Responsibilities
As Senior CRM Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions across Sales, Customer Service, and Omnichannel capabilities
- Lead development and customization activities across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and associated Microsoft technologies
- Develop custom server-side logic using C# Dataverse plug-ins, custom workflow activities, custom APIs, and Power Platform solution components
- Build client-side extensions using JavaScript/TypeScript, command bar customization, form scripting, and Dataverse Web API calls
- Perform technical code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and ensure changes are secure, supportable, and performant
- Design and support integrations between Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications including eCommerce, ERP, Marketing, and third-party platforms
- Develop and enhance Copilot AI-powered customer service solutions and conversational AI capabilities
- Implement integrations using Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Key Vault
- Use Azure DevOps for source control, work item management, pull requests, and deployment tracking
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to maximize platform value
- Identify technical debt, platform risks, and performance bottlenecks, then execute remediation plans
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, architecture reviews, and release planning activities
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales and/or Customer Service) development experience
- 3+ years developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse
- 2+ years working in Agile software development environments
- Strong expertise in C#,.NET Framework/Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, Web APIs, REST Services, and SQL
- Experience with server-side plugin development, triggers, and Dataverse security architecture
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git source control
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills for complex application and integration issues
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years supporting enterprise integrations utilizing Azure services and REST APIs
- Experience developing conversational AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Key Vault, and Application Insights
- PCF Controls development experience
- Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate, Dynamics 365 Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Experience with customer service and contact center technology modules
