Working Student, Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential analytics software organization in Berlin. They're looking for a working student to join their Data & Analytics function—someone who will take ownership of real workflows, data applications, and business intelligence tasks that teams across the company depend on daily.

This isn't a shadow role. You'll build pipelines that need to stay running, create reports stakeholders are waiting for, and answer questions that shape decisions. You'll work independently between check-ins, with clearly scoped tasks and the support of experienced analysts.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analysis, reporting, and maintenance work as priorities shift week to week
• Build and maintain data ingestion workflows and keep scheduled pipelines operational as sources evolve
• Develop data applications and reports used by teams across the organization to self-serve insights
• Research business questions brought by other departments and deliver actionable answers
• Improve existing workflows and reports: optimize performance, clean up code, and document thoroughly
• Own tasks end to end—scope requirements upfront, execute independently, and hand over clear results

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university or Hochschule in Berlin with at least 12 months of study remaining
• Available at least 16 hours per week, including two days on-site in the Kreuzberg office
• Working knowledge of low-code analytics platforms and data science fundamentals
• Solid SQL and database basics
• Strong research skills: you find sources, evaluate relevance, and synthesize answers—not just link lists
• Ability to draft data applications and reports with AI assistance and explain the underlying logic
• High degree of independence: you structure your own work, self-unblock using documentation, and know when to escalate
• Reliability when building things others depend on
• Fluent in English

Bonus: Relevant certifications, experience with deployment and scheduling in analytics platforms, Python or JavaScript for custom snippets and visualizations, or German language skills.
