Senior Information Security Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer. In this role, you will take ownership of incident management while driving continuous improvement of the security posture. Your responsibilities include:

• Improve and take ownership of incident management processes
• Enhance detection capabilities and reduce noise for the SIEM system
• Create and improve security playbooks and response procedures
• Strengthen email security measures
• Develop security guides and implement monitoring measures to protect systems and data
• Improve security tooling, processes, and standards across the organization
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team
• Monitor cloud security configurations across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform using CSPM tools
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into cloud deployment environments and pipelines
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews
• Improve logging, visibility, and evidence collection across corporate and production systems

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in SecOps, cloud security, incident response, security engineering, or similar roles
• At least 3 years of experience in threat analysis, SIEM alert investigation, creating detections, reducing noise, and incident management
• 2+ years of experience with CSPM tools
• At least 3 years of experience working for a cloud-based, global technology product company
• Experience with EDR/XDR tools and endpoint investigation
• Experience with vulnerability management and risk-based prioritization
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to security challenges
