Freelance Independent Rater

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking experienced mental health professionals to join their global network of Central Independent Raters supporting a depression study. This is a 100% remote, flexible, freelance opportunity for clinicians with psychiatric assessment expertise.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and review psychiatric assessments remotely for clinical trial participants
• Conduct structured clinical interviews following standardized protocols
• Apply MINI (Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview) and MADRS (Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale) assessments
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of evaluations
• Maintain compliance with clinical trial protocols and quality standards
• Participate in training and calibration sessions as needed

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related mental health field
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience post-graduation
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in clinical trials or clinical research settings
• Demonstrated experience administering, scoring, reviewing, or overseeing MINI and MADRS assessments
• Strong clinical interviewing and assessment skills
• Fluent English required; additional language proficiency is a plus
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Ability to manage flexible project-based work schedules
