Senior HR Specialist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential professional services firm in München seeking a Senior HR Specialist to work closely with the Head of HR on operational and project-based human resources initiatives.

In this role, you will support employees and managers throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding through exit. You'll prepare employment contracts, contract amendments, references, and other personnel documents while coordinating with payroll processing.

You will advise managers on employment law matters, organizational questions, and people-related issues. Your responsibilities include organizing and developing training programs, feedback processes, and employee evaluation systems.

You'll lead your own HR projects in areas such as employee benefits, talent development, employer branding, or HR process optimization. Additionally, you'll manage HR systems including Personio and elearnio, developing digital and automated workflows to improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Psychology, Law, or comparable qualification.

You must have several years of experience in a generalist HR function with solid knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and strong foundational understanding of employment law.

The ideal candidate works independently, maintains structure and reliability, and manages multiple concurrent projects effectively. You present professionally, communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, and contribute to developing HR as an internal service function.

Strong digital affinity is essential—you should be motivated to improve, standardize, and automate HR processes. Experience with Personio, elearnio, or DATEV is advantageous, as is background in professional services, consulting, or growing mid-sized organizations, though not required.

Fluency in German is required for this position.
