Senior GenAI Solution Engineer (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Senior GenAI Solution Engineer to join their technical delivery team. In this role, you will:

• Drive AI solutions across the full lifecycle, from rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept through to deployment in scalable, highly available production environments
• Build robust backend services in Python that integrate state-of-the-art LLMs and perform reliably under production load
• Design and implement intelligent agent systems that automate workflows through tool calling and memory management, operating safely within defined guardrails
• Integrate AI agents into the development lifecycle, including AI-assisted coding, code reviews, automated testing, and intelligent documentation
• Take ownership of code quality by applying clean architecture principles, implementing automated testing, and establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Implement frameworks to measure GenAI solution performance including accuracy, latency, and cost metrics for continuous optimization
• Work directly with enterprise clients, facilitating workshops and acting as a technical advisor to business and management stakeholders
• Translate complex AI concepts into tangible business impact and assess technical feasibility for production-ready products

What We're Looking For

• Strong Python expertise for production environments, including API development (FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), automated testing, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to rapidly build and visualize demos and proof-of-concepts
• Solid architectural understanding with application of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, async/concurrency patterns, and ORMs (SQLAlchemy)
• Hands-on experience with multimodal LLM APIs from leading providers and cloud platforms
• Advanced GenAI engineering skills including prompt engineering, structured outputs (JSON), and tool/function calling
• End-to-end RAG expertise, from embeddings and vector databases (pgvector) to advanced retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation
• Experience designing and orchestrating autonomous agent systems with memory management and guardrails
• Client-facing consulting experience with ability to facilitate workshops, present results, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Fluent German (C1 level) and professional English proficiency
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or comparable field (Bachelor's or higher)
• Willingness to travel regularly for on-site client work
