[Contractor] Mid-level/Senior Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential product engineering and AI consulting firm seeking experienced Product Managers to join their contractor network for project-based client engagements throughout Brazil and internationally.

This is a contractor/project-based role paid in USD, operating remotely with flexible allocation based on project availability. Engagements vary in duration, scope, and weekly commitment depending on client needs. Some opportunities may start immediately; others activate as new projects enter the pipeline.

Our client works with established and scaling organizations across multiple industries—helping them navigate ambiguity, validate opportunities, align stakeholders, and transform business problems into valuable digital products.

Responsibilities

Product work in this context typically begins before things are fully defined. On a typical project, you will:

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business goals, user problems, and product opportunities
• Shape product direction even when requirements, priorities, or vision are still evolving
• Create and organize product backlogs, user stories, business rules, and feature definitions
• Work closely with delivery managers, designers, and engineers to define valuable, feasible, and usable solutions
• Facilitate alignment across clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders
• Participate in product discovery, roadmap discussions, prioritization, and go-to-market conversations
• Join product ceremonies and ensure the product evolves in the right direction

Some projects will be highly strategic and discovery-oriented; others will be execution and delivery-focused. Most are a mix of both.

What We're Looking For

Must-have skills and experience:

• Strong experience managing digital products across web and mobile environments at a mid-level to senior capacity
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities, and fast-changing product contexts
• Ability to balance business goals, user needs, technical constraints, and delivery realities
• Advanced English proficiency for international client and team collaboration (calls, discussions, async communication)
• Proven ability to operate across multidisciplinary environments involving product, engineering, design, and delivery teams
• Adaptability to consulting-style environments requiring fast context-switching across different projects and industries
• Current use of AI tools as part of day-to-day workflow—for organization, discovery, documentation, research, prioritization, or workflow acceleration

Strong plus:

• Previous experience in consulting/service environments, enterprise products, or US-based client contexts

Administrative requirements:

• Valid business registration in Brazil (CNPJ or equivalent)
• Bank account eligible to receive payments in USD
• Ability to issue invoices accordingly

This role may not be the right fit if you:

• Prefer highly structured environments with very stable scopes and long planning cycles
• Are uncomfortable navigating ambiguity or balancing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
• Prefer operating only at a strategic level without involvement in execution and day-to-day product decisions
• Would rather avoid client-facing conversations or cross-functional collaboration
• Rely heavily on mature product structures, large internal product teams, or extensive metrics environments to operate effectively
