We are representing a confidential biopharma organization seeking an Area Business Manager for Hematology/Oncology to cover the Los Angeles, CA territory. This remote-based role focuses on achieving sales objectives through strategic customer relationship development with hematologists, oncologists, and key healthcare institutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute quarterly territory business plans aligned with marketing strategies through customer insights and cross-functional collaboration
• Build and maintain relationships with hematologists, oncologists, and other key healthcare decision-makers
• Serve as a product and disease state expert, effectively communicating clinical information to support appropriate therapy utilization
• Partner with field colleagues including network managers, reimbursement teams, and medical affairs to ensure coordinated strategy execution across integrated delivery networks and health systems
• Manage account targeting, call planning, and time allocation to maximize territory performance
• Complete accurate call reporting, expense documentation, and business plan updates in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations
• Attend required training sessions, medical conferences, and symposia as needed
• Maintain safe driving practices and company vehicle standards

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily within territory
• Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Oncology or hematology sales background
• Business or life science degree focus
• Up to 2 years selling chemotherapeutic agents or biotech products
• Familiarity with hospital and cancer center environments
