Senior Digital Project Manager / Campaign (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital agency seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager to lead brand and campaign projects in Köln. Our client operates in agile structures and delivers integrated digital experiences across social, web, e-commerce, and online marketing channels.

This role requires excellent German language skills as current projects are conducted primarily in German. You'll manage multiple client campaigns from concept through execution, serving as a strategic partner while maintaining oversight of content, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple client and campaign projects across content, timeline, and budget dimensions
• Drive campaigns from initial concept through launch, translating brand messaging into digital experiences tailored to target audiences
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on brand and communications strategy
• Lead acquisition efforts, pitches, and business development initiatives
• Support and mentor junior team members in their professional development
• Present ideas and concepts in compelling ways that generate stakeholder enthusiasm
• Integrate AI tools thoughtfully into project workflows and daily operations

What We're Looking For

• 4-5 years of experience in digital project management, ideally with focus on brand and campaign work
• Scrum certification is a plus
• Deep understanding of social, web, e-commerce, and online marketing project delivery
• Proven ability to manage campaigns across the full lifecycle from concept to launch
• Experience with acquisition, pitches, and business development
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack
• Excellent German language skills (required); good English skills are a plus
• Proactive, empathetic, and highly organized working style
• Comfort working in flat hierarchies and collaborative environments
• Passion for mentoring and developing junior colleagues
